The product

What is the SATI?
A precision aluminum vessel that holds a replaceable Botanical Capsule — a blend of herbs in the tradition of Thai ya dom pocket inhalers. You draw air through it and get the aroma of the botanicals. No smoke, no vapor, no batteries, no nicotine.

Is this a vape?
No. Nothing burns, nothing heats, nothing atomizes. There is no liquid, no coil, no battery, and no cloud. Air passes over sealed botanicals and picks up their aroma — that’s the entire mechanism.

How long does a capsule last?
About a month of daily use. The aroma fades gradually; when it’s gone, swap in a fresh capsule.

Safety

Will this help me quit smoking or vaping?
SATI makes no health claims of any kind. The SATI is not a smoking-cessation product, not a medical device, and not a treatment for anything. It’s a well-made object for enjoying botanical aroma, in a tradition Thais have carried for a century. What it means in your life is yours to decide.

Is it safe to use?
SATI is not a medical product, and we make no safety or efficacy claims. If you notice any irritation, stop use. Keep SATI and its capsules out of reach of children and pets. As with any product containing concentrated botanicals, review the full ingredient list and check with your doctor if you have any concerns.

Who shouldn’t use it?
SATI is intended for adult use. If you are pregnant or nursing, have a respiratory condition (such as asthma), epilepsy, high or low blood pressure, or any allergy to botanical or essential oil ingredients, talk to your doctor before using SATI — the same guidance generally given for essential oil products.

Is it FDA approved?
The FDA does not approve products of this kind. SATI complies with applicable US consumer product and labeling requirements.
